Counseling and Family Therapy - Assistant Professor - Tenure Track

The Graduate School Counseling Program at Saint Joseph College is reopening its search seeking a full-time assistant professor position in its School Counseling program. This position will begin during the month of August 2012. The successful candidate will have academic, as well as clinical experience specific to the School Counseling position, possess a strong work ethic, and have the ability to engage others in a professionally caring manner.
Responsibilities include teaching, scholarly pursuits in the field of counseling, advising students, coordination of practicum and internship placements, and participating in service at the department, school, and institutional levels.
Qualifications include completion of an earned doctoral degree (ABD considered) in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program, clinical and teaching experience germane to the position, and a commitment to an outcome and ethics based curriculum designed to prepare students for competent counseling practice.
