CEDU 760 - AAMFT Approved Supervisor Training Course

Tuition:  $595.00*

The Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Saint Joseph College will be offering the AAMFT Approved Supervisor Training Course beginning in the spring semester of 2011.  The Supervisor Training Course focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary for supervising family therapists working with diverse and challenging populations. The course prepares you to meet your supervisees' needs, combine supervisory methods with your preferred style of therapy, address ethical and diversity issues within the supervision process, and act as evaluator and gatekeeper for the profession. The 30-hour course includes didactic and inter-actional instruction methods.

1/18, 2/1, 2/15, 3/1, 3/22, 4/5, 4/19, 5/3, 5/17, 8/30, 9/13, 9/20/11

   

Times: 6:45 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.

The course is taught by Patricia Gorman, Ed. D., Associate Professor and Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Saint Joseph College. Dr. Gorman has been supervising family therapists for the past 20 years; she is an AAMFT Clinical Member and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
