Tutorial Services
The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) provides Saint Joseph College students with tutoring to assist with writing papers in all disciplines. Academic tutoring is available in such areas as accounting, biology, chemistry, fine arts, foreign language, history, math, and statistics. Other CAE services include: model papers; handouts on topics such as writing strategies, research documentation styles, study skills, and math concepts; workshops on selected topics; study tables; writing associates; and supplemental instruction.
All CAE services are FREE.
CAE Hours:
Monday: 9-5
Tuesday: 9:30-7:30
Wednesday: 9-8
Thursday: 9:30-7:30
Friday: 9-5
Saturday: 9-2
Writing tutoring will continue through Dec. 16th. Please call or email for tutor availability over winter intercession. Regular hours will begin again on January 17th, 2012.
Online Tutoring:
The CAE also offers online writing tutorials via Skype for those students who cannot come to campus. Phone appointments are also available. Call 860.231.5514 for details.
