This class in Crisis Intervention will give participants a basic understanding of the psychology of crisis situations and the stages of crisis development. As part of the class, participants will learn how to provide for the care, welfare, safety, and security of everyone in a crisis using the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Model. Participants will develop an understanding of the long and short term effects of trauma.
Participants that complete this training will earn 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
These CEUs cannot be used for licensure renewal.
