Online Student Services

Bursar's Office and Cashier

The Bursar's Office and Cashier can assist any online students with payment of their classes.  The Cashier can be reached at 860.231.5266.   

Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium

The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium (CTDLC) is responsible for hosting the learning systems and course shells for all the online programs at Saint Joseph College.  The CTDLC provides support for students who are having technical trouble and puts out a sample course that allows students to observe the online course environment before registering for classes.  The CTDLC can be reached at 860-832-3888. 

Information Technology

The Information Technology department can aid online students with any technical support required with MySJC and their student e-mail.  The Information Technology department can be reached at 860.231.5310 or helpdesk@sjc.edu. 

Online Bookstore

Students can purchase their textbooks online through an Online Bookstore feature.  The Bookstore located on the first floor of McGovern Hall can be reached at 860.231.5290 or bookstore@sjc.edu.

Pope Pius XII Library

The Pope Pius XII Library located on the Saint Joseph College campus offers many services for online students including off-campus access to databases.  The Pope Pius XII Library can be reached at 860.231.5209.

Sample Course

Before taking your first online course, it is recommended to view the the sample course put out by the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium.  Once the screen appears, type "student" as the Username and Password to observe an online course environment typical to online classes at Saint Joseph College.

Software Secure

The Securexam Remote Proctor required for the comprehensive exam can be rented from Saint Joseph College or purchased directly from Software Secure.  More information about the device is displayed on their website.  Software Secure can also be reached at 617.340.6381.
