Candidates for initial teacher licensure may apply to the Graduate School simultaneously with application for initial teacher licensure and may take up to six credits of teacher licensure coursework before submitting the MA Planned Program. Saint Joseph College candidates accepted for initial teacher licensure apply 15 credits of coursework from their official teacher licensure program toward the Master of Arts degree.

In addition to the materials submitted to the School of Education for teacher licensure, candidates submit the following additional items to the Graduate School.
