Q: How do I apply?
A: The optimum way to apply to The Graduate School at Saint Joseph College is online by clicking HERE. There is also access via the Graduate Academic Programs page.
All other forms you may need (financial aid, immunization, graduate assistantships) regarding your application to The Graduate School may be found at www.sjc.edu/gradforms.
Should you be on campus, materials can be found in The Graduate School Office, main floor, McDonough Hall, phone: 1.860.231.5261.
Please note: the Graduate School makes every effort to expedite your application. However, there are supporting materials to collect which depend upon others to fulfill and return to us. Please allow several weeks for us to update you on the progress of your file. We will notify you when your application is complete.

A: You should begin to collect the documents required for matriculation. Please note that each program has unique requirements for admissions, but here is an abbreviated checklist to get you started.
- Offical transcripts from institutions where your degree(s) were conferred
- Two letters of recommendation
- Proof of immunization (Waived for online degree students and for those indiviudals born before 12/31/1956.
Q: What is the deadline for registration?
A: Students can register for courses until the end of the add/drop period each semester, generally by the second class meeting or within 48 hours for online classes. It is recommended that students register early; courses confirm usually within a week of class start. Graduate programs are offered year round and admission is ongoing.

Q: What is my status? Have I matriculated?
A: Once a students is matriculated into a graduate program, he/she will receive an official letter in the mail from the Graduate Dean. Generally the process takes several weeks and varies by how the materials are submitted and department review time. During the summer months, this turnaround time is often longer.
