"At Saint Joseph College, I'm able to establish a close bond with my professors because of the low student-to-faculty ratio. I've also always been taught by my professors - never a teaching assistant - which doesn't happen at the larger colleges.
When I was looking at colleges there were two factors that made SJC stand out among the other places: the first was when I met Professor Jarett, who is one of my professors, on Accepted Student Day. I liked him a lot from the start. The second thing was the scholarship aid I received. Because of this, my parents can afford to send me here. I also have a brother in college.
I believe that the education in a private school like SJC is much better than a public one. I have become more confident and outgoing. I've made amazing friends that I'll have forever. Being a women's college is one of SJC's strengths. It has helped me stay focused. It's a small, friendly community where everyone is there for each other."
