"All students have the ability to learn." Ruth Kelly, RSM, says, "It is up to the faculty to show the creativity that allows students to bring out their best potential." As living proof of this philosophy, Sister Ruth encourages different points of view in her classroom and feels that the learning is in full swing when the students are asking many questions.
As a Sister of Mercy, Sister Ruth brings a spiritual eminence to the College, and she considers teaching to be her ministry. More than an occupation, teaching for her is a true calling. "I feel ownership of the College and I take very seriously everything that is said about it. I care about how each student is doing."
