Twenty-two graduate students representing 15 different states took part in the Summer 2014 Graduate Institute commencement ceremony, held on campus on Friday, August 8th, on the Weigle Placita.
Our Summer 2014 Commencement Speaker was Theodore C. Rogers of New York, New York. Mr. Rogers is the Chairman and a founding partner of American Industrial Partners, a private equity firm, and has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of two Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Rogers is an active patron of the arts and has served as the Chairman of both the New York City Ballet and the Theatre for a New Audience, and on the boards of the Houston Ballet, Poets and Writers, and the New York Society Library (the third oldest library in the United States). Mr. Rogers is an alumnus of the St. John’s College graduate program in Liberal Arts and currently serves as the vice-chair of the College’s Board of Visitors and Governors.
