The free Music on the Hill™ concert series, sponsored by St. John’s College, is a popular Santa Fe Summer event. The eighth season began on June 12, 2013, with local jazz vocalist Faith Amour. The series continues with The Santa Fe Great Big Jazz Band and Joan Kessler (June 19); Straight Up, with J Q Whitcomb and Brain Wingard (June 26); Vinnie and Janice Zummo (July 10); John Proulx Quartet (July 17); and Nosotros (July 24).
Concerts start at 6 p.m. on the college’s athletic field and conclude at 8 p.m. Concertgoers may bring their own picnic and beverages or purchase food and soft drinks from Walter Burke Catering and Sprouts, respectively. Folding lawn chairs are allowed. Both dogs and smoking are prohibited. Handicapped parking only allowed on campus.
