This is the first English translation of Kordian by Juliusz Słowacki, with notes and introduction by Gerard T. Kapolka. Kordian is a verse play of the Romanticism by one of the greatest figures in Polish literature. It is a classic of Polish literature that is read by all Polish high school students. The edition also includes illustrations by Lilli Carre.
