This book provides materials which could lead to a better understanding and appreciation of the contribution of Thomas Taylor the Platonist. His work was almost totally vitiated by a notice that appeared in the Edinburgh Review in 1809, and the central document here is a transcription of that notice, the text of which is neither well-known nor readily available.
