Athletics & Intramurals
St. John’s highly-organized and much-beloved intramural program, for both men and women, is a mainstay of the college's extracurricular life. Regardless of skill level, students are able to discover (or re-discover) the joy of amateur athletics in a welcoming setting. Participants emphasize teamwork, exercise, and friendly competition, not rankings. Every student, faculty, and staff member is automatically allocated by name to one of five long-standing intramural teams (though participation is completely voluntary). Will you be a Druid, Greenwave, Guardian, Hustler, or Spartan? Come and see!
If you still crave some intercollegiate competition after playing intramural soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, netball, and other sports, check out the crew, sailing, croquet, and fencing teams.
Kunai, the name of the women’s intramural program, is open to all female members of the St. John’s community.
