Simply create a flyer with as much specific information as possible: ages of children, hours/days requested, whether you need the student to drive your children around, what town you are in and contact information. Welcome to the Saint Joseph College Career Development Center where all students and alumnae are offered career planning services and access to career development resources: You can discover yourself and, as a result, possible majors and/or career paths through individual counseling sessions, mentoring programs, career planning workshops and the many resources of the Career Library.
The staff of the Career Development Center can assist you in developing an understanding of your interests, skills and values in relation to choosing a major. Various programs are offered throughout the academic year to provide you the opportunity to investigate and discuss possible majors with faculty members from each department, academic advisors, as well as the career counseling center staff. Internships provide an opportunity to acquire academic credit, valuable experience in your field, employment leads, professional references and networking arenas. The Career Resource Library maintains listings of current local, national and international Internship opportunities in a variety of fields. The Career Development Center staff can help you with the Internship Application process. Exploratory, non-academic internships are also available.

Workshops provide valuable tips on conducting a job search, writing your resume and cover letters, developing interviewing skills and getting into graduate school. Information sessions address participation in and preparation for the on-campus recruiting events, the Mock Interview Program and the Hartford Consortium Career Fair.
