 | Shakespeare Festival Plays on the Grounds of SJC
Capital Classics Theatre Company returns to the campus of Saint Joseph College to stage its annual outdoor Shakespeare Festival. Now in its 18th season, the company presents Shakespeare's tragedy, Hamlet, preceded by a Moliere curtain-teaser comedy, The Seductive Countess. The family-oriented production, presented in collaboration with Saint Joseph College, will play on the lawn of The Carol Autorino Center (rain location: the adjacent Hoffman Auditorium). Featuring the talents of CT-based professional and student actors, The Festival delivers affordable, accessible and entertaining classical theatre. The Festival runs three weekends, July 10 - 27, with performances on Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. Audience members are invited to bring picnics, blankets, lawn chairs and friends! Tickets are available at 860.231.5555 or at the door; picnic dinners by Russell's Catering are also available. For further information, visit www.capitalclassics.org.
