Summer Shakespeare Festival at SJC

The TempestCapital Classics Theatre Company - producers of Connecticut's longest running Shakespeare Festival - will present The Tempest from July 9-26, 2009 on the grounds of Saint Joseph College. The family-oriented production, presented in collaboration with the College's Carol Autorino Center, will play in the Center's sunken garden (rain location: the adjacent Hoffman Auditorium). The production will feature a cast of Connecticut-based professional and student actors, along with live music and dance. Pre-show entertainment is provided by the Elizabethan Consort.

The Tempest plays Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 5:30 p.m. Tickets ($12 adults, $7 children) are available at the door or at the box office: 860.231.5555; www.sjc.edu/arts.
