Educational Components

Students prepare food for One Dish Meals R UsMr. Dutko teaches reading

 

 

All instructional programs offer structured classrooms that address individual student's skill development in reading, language arts, math, study skills, computer skillsand/or functional self help and life skills.

Students enjoy reading at the Listening Center

Instructional Options

  • UnitOne- Elementary/middle school program
  • UnitTwo- High-school departmentalized program
  • LIFE Skills -functional life skills program

 

Technology Education

Students work on comuter skills

The Gengras Center was awarded a generous $50,000.00 grant from the American Savings Foundation for Assistive Technology. Students are instructed in the use of a variety of technologies including, but not limited to; computers, SmartBoard, TV/VCR, tape players, telephones, answering machines, as well as the use of various communication devices.
