Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy (PT) services are offered at the Gengras Center based on the individual needs of the students. School -based PT services are specified on the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) as well as PT goals and objectives. Physical Therapy addresses mobility, ambulation, range of motion, balance, coordination, functional skills, community safety and mobility. Therapeutic interventions promote independence and are trans-disciplinary to make the student successful in the school environment. Physical Therapy evaluations, assessments, consultations, and treatment planning are done by a licensed Physical Therapist.
