Music Program

The music education program at The Gengras Center is designed to realize the musical potential of each of our students. We believe that in a rich musical environment, children of varied abilities can benefit from a school program that offers a stimulating and musically rewarding music curriculum. Our program adheres to the standards for arts education enacted as an outcome of written into law at that time. In music we sing, dance, perform on instruments, participate in choral and drama activities at the Hoffman Auditorium and work with teachers and students from other schools to share our musical experiences. We are also very proud of our music technology computer lab, where we utilize the latest in educational software, Interactive Smart Board technology, and MIDI keyboards and adaptive equipment to learn, create and have fun with music.
