The Offices of Communications in Santa Fe and Annapolis promote St. John's College and its programs; they jointly manage the external and internal communications efforts of the two campuses. They ensure that communications in all media are consistent and engaging, and that the College presents itself accurately through its publications and interactive media, and through external news and media providers. Communications maintains graphic identity standards, brand messaging, web design, publications, photography and video production, and manages news-media relationships. Each office produces a calendar of events, press releases on college news and events, periodicals, and publications, including The College alumni magazine.

Editorial Style Guidelines
The editorial style guide ensures consistency and clarity in the College’s print and online publications. This style guide is based, primarily, on the Chicago Manual of Style, although other sources are used as well. It also notes style guidelines and usage — words like “Johnnies” — that reflect specific preferences and practices, to insure that communications remain stylistically consistent.
