SJC Wins CASE Awards
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District 1* Communications Awards for 2010 were announced recently. The awards recognize outstanding achievement in higher education, independent school and non-profit organization communications; submissions are assessed on overall design, content and writing, use of photography, graphics and technology. Saint Joseph College won two awards in the following categories:

"The Gengras Center booklet"
This prestigious recognition earned from CASE judges - all of whom are seasoned professionals - distinguishes the calibre and quality of work produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications at SJC over the last year in advancing the College’s message to the public.
These projects also drew on the talents of: Mark Johnson, Ph.D., chair and associate professor of Biology; Margery Lawrence, Ph.D., R.D., chair and associate professor of Nutrition; Michelle Lestrud, assistant director (The Gengras Center); Justin McGlamery, facilitator (Adventure Education & Technology, The Gengras Center); and Diane Mendez, director of Graduate Student Services (Graduate and Professional Studies).

A public recognition featuring the winning Communication Award entries will take place during the CASE District 1 Conference (luncheon event) on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, MA.
