Dr. Diane Dean to be Featured Speaker at Nutmeg State Orchid Society Show & Sale on March 17
The 2012 Nutmeg State Orchid Society Show & Sale (March 17 & 18) will welcome Saint Joseph College Associate Professor of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences Diane Dean, Ph.D. as a featured speaker at the event. Dr. Dean’s presentation, “Orchid Tripping in Ecuador – Where Orchids Grow Like Weeds” is scheduled on Saturday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the West Hartford Meeting & Conference Center located at 50 South Main Street. Admission to the show is $5; children age 12 and under are free. The Saint Joseph College community is cordially invited to attend! Dr. Dean is an avid collector of orchids and has served as a founding member and director of the Nutmeg State Orchid Society.
