Faculty Promotions Announced at Saint Joseph College

Faculty promotions have been announced by Saint Joseph College Interim Provost Anne Lippert, Ph.D. “These accomplishments reflect the strength of the Saint Joseph College faculty and its commitment to teaching, scholarship and service. They bring honor to the College, the Schools and the entire campus,” said Dr. Lippert. “The College community is proud to celebrate the achievements of these faculty members and extends warm congratulations to them!”

Four faculty members have been recognized by Saint Joseph College’s Board of Trustees:

Patrick Nickoletti, Ph.D.Patrick Nickoletti, Ph.D.,has been promoted to Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Studies with tenure at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, CT. Dr. Nickoletti earned his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Chicago; he earned both a B.A. and a B.S. from Purdue University. He is a resident of West Hartford, CT.

 

 

 

Hong Zhou, Ph.D.Hong Zhou, Ph.D.,has been promoted to Associate Professor of Computer Science with tenure at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, CT. Dr. Zhou earned his Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi; an M.S. from Xiamen University, Peoples Republic of China; and a B.S. from Wuhan University, Peoples Republic of China. He is a resident of West Hartford, CT.

 

 

 

Lydia Conca, Ph.D.Lydia Conca, Ph.D.,Education, has been promoted to full Professor at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, CT. Dr. Conca earned her Ph.D. from Northwestern University; a M.Ed. from the University of Illinois; and a B.S. from West Chester University. She is a resident of Tolland, CT.

 

 

 

Marylouise Welch, Ph.D.Marylouise Welch, Ph.D., Nursing, has been recognized as Professor Emerita at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, CT.  Dr. Welch earned her Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a resident of West Hartford, CT.
