West Hartford has been the College's home for its entire 78-year existence. We know why we love this town, but now the rest of the world is catching on.
September 2, 2010 - The latest accolade came in this week: Kiplinger's rated West Hartford one of the nation's "Top Ten Cities for Raising a Family." It specifically cited "low crime, top-ranked schools (public and private), proximity to major cities, a range of parks and historic sites, and an up-and-coming downtown with a number of ongoing development projects."
Only a few months prior, Kiplinger's rated West Hartford a "Top Ten Best City" for 2010, writing: "West Hartford made our list because it is transforming itself from a suburb into a destination — in this case, a regional destination for shopping and dining."
In 2008, Money Magazine ranked the town of the "Best 100 Places to Live" in the United States. Congratulations, West Hartford – Saint Joseph College is proud to call you "home!"
