St. John's College will hold its 49th commencement celebration the weekend of May 20-21 in Santa Fe, with the graduation of 78 undergraduate students and 19 graduate students.

The highest concentration of undergraduate students receiving bachelor of arts degrees in Liberal Arts is from California (16), followed by Colorado (10), Texas (6), New York (5), Illinois (5) and New Mexico (4). Nine of the graduates are international students from China, Nepal, South Korea, and Zimbabwe. New Mexico students include Shane Brill and Jackson Larson of Santa Fe; John Martinez of Dixon; and Billy Traubado-Loera of Albuquerque.

The graduate class of 2016 is comprised of 19 students, including four international students from Mexico, Spain, India, and China. Eighteen will graduate with a master of arts degree in Liberal Arts and one will graduate with a master of arts in Eastern Classics.

The rate for a room with one king or two queen beds per night is $82.00 + tax and includes continental breakfast, a downtown shuttle, 24-hour business center, wifi, exercise facilities, laundry services, and a seasonal pool. The inn has a new restaurant and bar this year. When calling, ask for the St. John's College rate. 

Drury Plaza Hotel

The rate for a room with one king bed or two queen beds per night for room is $179 + tax, or $209 + tax for an oversized room with a king bed. The rate for a suite with one king bed is $279.00 + tax. Rates include wifi, a business center, a restaurant, exercise facilities, laundry facilities, and newspapers, a hot breakfast, and an evening reception with three cocktails. The rate for per night for a studio suite with a king bed and a sofa bed is $129.00 + tax, or $139.00 for a studio suite with two double beds and a sofa bed, or $169.00 + tax for a 2-story penthouse suite with one king bed, one queen-sized murphy bed, and one sofa bed. Both options include hot breakfast, a fully equipped kitchen, separate sleeping and eating areas, parking, an airport shuttle, 24-hour business center, wifi, exercise facilities, laundry facilities, a seasonal pool with hot tub, and complimentary evening Social Hour.
