Outdoor Activities

In Annapolis, students take advantage of the Chesapeake Bay; many join the sailing or the crew team and compete in regattas with other schools in the region. Students can also borrow a canoe or a sailboat from our boathouse and head out onto the creek right in back of campus for picnic on the water. There are also tennis courts on campus. In town there are several options for boating, including adventure sailing and kayaking excursions. National parks — most are within a few hours drive — include the National Seashore, and Shenandoah mountains.

"If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things."
