Issues and Projects
The Office of Community Outreach and Partnerships coordinates a variety of opportunities for the entire Saint Joseph College community to engage in outreach and service projects. The types of issues and projects the students find most rewarding are:
- Adolescents and children
- Elderly
- Housing and homelessness
- Literacy and tutoring
- People with special needs
- Teen mothers
- Cookie bakes for area shelters
- Habitat for Humanity
- Holiday card projects for the elderly
- Walks in support of issues: AIDS, Heart Health, Hunger
- Projects are planned according to the interests of students and the needs of the surrounding area
