Academic Advisement Center

Welcome to the Academic Advisement Center at Saint Joseph College!

The Academic Advisement Center at Saint Joseph College serves as an academic issues resource for the entire undergraduate population of matriculated and non-matriculated students and faculty advisors. The Center is directly responsible for the advisement of all newly matriculated students until they complete a minimum of 45 credits and declare their majors. The Center also advises undecided upper-class students and assists them in exploring and selecting their majors. Students remain with the same academic counselor until they move to their academic department. At that point, they are advised by trained faculty advisors within their major. While advisors are available to guide and support the student, it is the student who must ultimately assume responsibility for her/his academic program.
