Services for Commuters
McGovern Lounge is an area open to all students with comfortable couches, tables to eat lunch or study at, a pool table, and foosball table.
The L.I.F.E. Center is located in McGovern Hall and is an area dedicated to financial education. Computers are available with financial programs and magazine subscriptions.
The Cyber Site is located in McGovern Hall and has two computers for student use. Check your e-mail or MySJC account between classes.
Lockers are free on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve a locker, please contact Student Activities and Orientation Programs at 860.231.5447.
Health Services - located in the Little Red House, is open M, T, W, F 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Th 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. There is no charge for visits, but there is a charge for lab tests conducted off-campus. The Health Services Staff consists of a registered nurse, a nurse practitioner and a physician. Other than for an annual physical examination, no appointment is necessary to see the nurse practitioner or registered nurse.
