Orientation Leaders
Orientation is a comprehensive program sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Orientation Programs, faculty, staff and most importantly, returning students. The program is designed as an introduction to student life, involvement on campus and the resources and service available to new students. Orientation Leaders are vital to the success of this program. Click here for Orientation dates and activities.
Selection & Training
Orientation Leaders (OLs) are selected based on their application, interview, and their enthusiasm for the College. Applications are available in the Student Affairs Office and leaders are selected in early spring. Training for leaders begins in the spring semester. Through these training sessions, OLs get to know one another, contribute to the Orientation schedule for new students and begin to come together as a cohesive team. OLs are expected to return to campus before the orientation program begins for further training and to help ready the campus for our new arrivals.
