Prevention and Training

Across the College, we are committed to eliminating sexual and gender-based misconduct. Every member of our community shares the responsibility to report sexual misconduct, support those who come forward and participate in education and training programs.

Required for All College Employees:

An online module for faculty and staff provides information about maintaining a respectful, inclusive and equitable working and learning environment free from sexual harassment and misconduct. Those unable to complete the online module complete in-person training that covers the same information.

The online module is offered through Get Inclusive and is shared with employees by Human Resources at the time of hire.

Required for All Students:

An online module for students provides information about bystander intervention, consent, and college policies to all incoming first-year students. The online module is offered through Get Inclusive and is shared with students prior to on-campus arrival.

In Annapolis, in-person training is offered to new Graduate Institutes.

Special training around Title IX and Sexual Misconduct, including their responsibility as Responsible Employees and Campus Security Authorities, is provided to all Resident Advisors.

Additional Training:

Pursuant to the 2020 Title IX regulations, below are trainings provided to College officials with responsibilities under the Title IX Sexual Harassment policy.
