Academy for Young Writers
The Academy is for 5th, 6th and 7th grade students who have an interest in writing and seek to explore ways of further enhancing their own writing. Students who have developed some basic skills will be challenged and assisted in further developing and expanding their writing capabilities while participating in a variety of activities. Participants are from Avon, Bloomfield, Hartford, Simsbury and West Hartford public school districts.
