St. John’s College alumni have a unique place in the world as profoundly educated thinkers with broad perspectives developed across many disciplines and thousands of years of human history. These thinkers are equally comfortable confronting any career challenge in any career field.
A St. John’s education can lead anywhere.
Nearly 70% of Johnnies pursue advanced degrees. St. John’s is in the top two percent of all colleges and universities in the nation for percent of alumni who go on to earn PhDs; in the top one percent for degrees in the humanities and the top four percent for those in science and engineering. More than half of Johnnies pursue internships while students, many of which are funded by the college.
Despite our small size, since 1990, St. John’s has graduated 13 Fulbright Scholars, 6 Rhodes Scholars, 6 Goldwater Scholars, and 5 Truman Scholars.
