FREEING MINDS A Campaign for St. John's College
The Harrison Health Center staff are network providers with most health insurance companies. Insurance companies will be billed for clinical services at the Health Center. Please bring your insurance card with you each time you have an appointment with one of the nurse practitioners on campus. If you have any questions, contact the Health Center staff at 410-626-2553.
Students are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage for services provided at the health center, and for health and medical services provided off site.
Students must be covered by health insurance. Unless information is provided confirming coverage through a parent’s policy, all students are automatically enrolled in the college health insurance plan.
Students should update their health insurance information each year at firststudent.com. You will see a Find Your School dropdown box in the upper right corner of the welcome page; you should select St. John’s College.
When the St. John’s page comes up, you will see a list of options on the left side. Waive Your Schools Insurance is the second option. You will need your student ID number and date of birth to enter the secure waiver site. Once you have downloaded the information about your plan and typed in your name as an electronic signature, hit enter. A confirmation page will appear and you will also be sent a confirmation email.
In the event you have any difficulty with the enrollment or waiver sites, please send an email to stjohns(at)rcmd.com or call Tim Cummons at 800-346-4075 ext. 1452.
The Student Health Insurance Plan through United Healthcare provides comprehensive, thorough coverage; enroll and explore the resources available through this plan.
All St. John’s students may utilize these resources even if they are not enrolled in the United Healthcare Student Health Insurance Plan.
If you have any questions about the plan and enrollment, please send an email to stjohns(at)rcmd.com.
