Arte del Corazón at St. John’s College
A Valentine Weekend event to celebrate the heart and soul of local award- winning Spanish Artists.
Continuing our 14 years tradition, St. John’s College is proud to feature the work of award-winning Spanish Art Auction and Market. Our venue showcases the heritage and art of the Hispanic culture in the southwest. Auction pieces will be available for preview on-line in early February at www.stjohnscollege.edu, and will be on display in the Meem Library from Friday, February 6 till noon on Friday, February 13.
The annual market showcases art forms unique to New Mexico and will include bultos, jewelry, retablos, metal work, woodcarving, ceramics, straw appliqué and weaving. Artists will also display their non-traditional works of art.

WHEN: Auction: Friday, February 13, 2009, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Market: Saturday, February 14, 2009, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Peterson Student Center, 2nd Floor
The weekend events are free and open to the public. Valet parking is available.
