St. John’s musician-in-residence and tutor Peter Pesic offers a lunchtime concert of piano music, featuring Frédéric Chopin’s Mazurkas, Opp. 59, 63, 67, 68, Opp. Post., which pay tribute to the Polish dance form. This is last of three concerts meant to include all of the Mazurkas.

Peter Pesic studied at Harvard and Stanford as well as at the Aspen Music School. He has been a tutor on the Santa Fe campus since 1980 and musician-in-residence since 1984. Since then, he has given two hundred concerts at St. John’s College and throughout New Mexico, as well as elsewhere in the United States and Europe.
