Craig Varjabedian is one of the West’s most eloquent photographers. In Four and Twenty Photographs, his sixth publication, Varjabedian shares his favorite photographs, which range from landscapes of the Southwest to intimate portraits, and the stories behind them. Varjabedian is director of the New Mexico Photography Field School, Santa Fe.

Writer Robin Jones is a 1984 graduate of St. John’s College, Santa Fe, and received her Ph.D. in American Literature at the University of Colorado. Since her return to Santa Fe in 1995, she has taught at Santa Fe Community College, the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque, and the Institute of American Indian Arts.

In their presentation, Varjabedian and Jones will give a slideshow of photographs from the book accompanied by music composed for the project. There will be a reading followed by a questions and answers session, and books will be available for purchase and signing.
