Do you need help finding information? The reference staff of the Pope Pius XII Library is available to help. Reference assistance is available seven days a week during the academic year. For in-depth support, an individual student or team may arrange a private research consultation with a reference librarian. Saint Joseph College faculty are encouraged to schedule research instruction sessions for their classes. Contact the reference librarians by calling the library at 860.231.5435, by e-mail at reference@sjc.edu or by visiting us at the library. Instructional sessions can be conducted in the library, in your classroom or in a Network Center classroom.
Turnitin.com allows professors to submit student papers and run them against an Internet Search and millions of other student papers to see if there are significant similarities. The result is an originality report. Saint Joseph College faculty may login at http://www.turnitin.com to set up an account. First ask the campus helpdesk to email the college account number and password.
