Child Study Program in the Human Development and Family Studies Department (HDFS)
Child StudyThe Child Study interdisciplinary major focuses on understanding children (birth through adolescence) and their families from a variety of perspectives. This program prepares students to work with children and families in a range of social service or educational settings. Child Study is an approved major for students interested in teaching at the early childhood or elementary levels.

- Bachelor's to Master's in Early Childhood Special Education
Qualified Child Study majors may take up to 2 graduate courses during their senior year and transfer these courses into their graduate program resulting in significant time and financial savings.
