PROGRAM BENEFITS

Flexible Schedule
The online class format allows students from around the globe to participate and earn a degree in Biology.  This gives students the flexibility to work at their most convenient times during the courses and at their own pace.

Small Classes
Saint Joseph College is recognized as providers of a low ratio of faculty to students in the class.  This is true of the online class with class size set at 15 students.  This allows thoughtful discussion and individual contact between students and with the faculty.

Opportunity to Network
Students interact with classmates more in an online format through threaded discussions and group projects.  This gives students the opportunity to meet people from different careers and different areas of the world.  It is easy to imagine that this networking could facilitate possible new jobs and friendships.

Faculty
The Saint Joseph College Biology Department is composed of professors from a wide variety of backgrounds.  Our faculty members include an ornithologist, an aquatic ecologist, a cardiologist, a neuroscientist, a pharmacologist, a microbiologist and a geneticist.  Many of our faculty have on-going research programs and have published their research findings in international journals.  Meet our Faculty!
