Chemistry is an excellent foundation for medical, dental, pharmacy, or physical therapy schools. As a Chemistry student, you will study from a varied and intensive curriculum. Our small classes and laboratory sections provide an optimal learning environment in which you will benefit from the knowledge and experience of faculty. Our undergraduate research program is a vital asset for acceptance into graduate and medical schools. We emphasize problem solving, quantitative skills, technology, imagination, and proficiency in written and oral communication.

Internships are available at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford Hospital, the State of Connecticut Crime Lab, Ensign-Bickford Industries, Pfizer, and Loctite Corporation, to name a few.
