Saint Joseph College has established a School of Pharmacy in recognition of the growing demand for pharmacists in the U.S. The College already has a pre-pharmacy program at the undergraduate level andthe professional program began in August 2011.
The combination of the pre-pharmacy program (click here for information) and the new School of Pharmacy will allow the college to offer the following program options for students:
- For those with bachelor's degrees (and all the appropriate pre-requisites):
- A three-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- For those without bachelor's degrees click here.
In keeping with the College's founding mission and values of service, the pharmacy doctorate addresses a demonstrated need in the community and is supported by the College's core competencies. Specifically, the College's reputation for offering high-quality programs, especially in health and human services, is well established. An advisory board of community leaders and pharmacy professionals will inform the pharmacy doctorate.
