The campus bookstore’s Program Wall holds all books required for St. John’s classes. Several translations and editions are available. There is a list on hand of recommended editions, and student staff are eager to help with choices and preferences. We also offer a robust philosophy section, “program-adjacent” titles, and works by tutors and alumni. There is a curated selection of literature, poetry, drama, religion, science and mathematics, history, foreign languages, and children’s literature. Our used books section (program titles only) offers significant savings, and our selection of merchandise has everything from greeting cards to coffee mugs, water bottles, t-shirts and ball caps. There are school supplies and sundries: pens, notebooks, pens and pencils, laundry detergent and basic toiletries.
The bookstore is located in the lower level of Edensword Hall, adjacent to the campus coffee shop and Mellon Hall terrace. If you’re not on campus or living in the area, feel free to contact us. We fill special orders for any title not in stock, and will ship books via USPS (U.S. residents only).
