Santa Fe Bookstore

The Santa Fe campus bookstore stocks all books required for St. John’s classes. Multiple translations and/or editions are available of most books on the reading list. Should you buy all your texts at the start of the year? It depends. Your tutors may express a preference, and you’re going to hear many opinions from upperclassmen. You will also develop your own tastes. The basic things you need to begin are: C.A.E. Luschnig’s Introduction to Ancient Greek, Second Edition, Euclid’s Elements, and volume 1 of the Freshman Lab Manual.

The campus bookstore accepts VISA, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. Cash and personal checks with a phone number are also welcome.

What the bookstore stocks: program books, extensive titles of fiction, poetry, reference, history, sciences, philosophy, religion and Eastern studies, psychology, cognitive science, writing reference, biology, physical science, drama, language studies, mathematics, nature and the Southwest, art books, graphic novels, children’s literature, and music.

Special orders are taken at no extra charge. There is also a variety of sweatshirts, T-shirts, baseball caps, and other St. John’s College paraphernalia. The bookstore carries office supplies like notepads, pens, binders, and pencils, and an assortment of basic sundries.
