Santa Fe Public Safety and Security

Our campus is a great place to live, work, and learn. We enjoy a wonderful location that is geographically and culturally diverse.

The St. John’s security team is committed to providing a safe learning and working environment for every member of this community. Your safety and well-being is this team’s highest priority and my primary concern, so our dedicated and experienced staff is available to assist this community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We work hard to employ a community policing model, meaning that safety on our campus is an effort that involves all of us. With effective communication, exercise of good judgment, and the use of a few common-sense crime prevention and safety measures, we can all be relatively assured of the safest possible experience.

Cooperation and communication are at the core of the St. John’s Security approach to safety and are key to the success of this team’s mission. You are invited to share your thoughts and ideas for improvement at any time. Community input is a critical element for continuous advancement of our shared safety goals.

These pages are designed to inform the St. John’s community of services Public Safety provides and to encourage safer behaviors in line with this community’s ethos. Please join our e2Campus system to receive alert notifications via text or email.

Photography and Videography On Campus

The public is welcome to take personal photos or short videos while visiting campus, so long as it does not interfere with the operations of the college or impede the members of our community. Professional photo and video shoots must be scheduled with the Campus Reservations Manager, are subject to location availability, and may require additional approval by the Communications Office. A contract must be signed for the rental. Facilities, including the fields, are rented in four-hour time blocks.
