Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers' music is rooted in vintage 1930's Mississippi Delta blues, and features original and classic songs that range from blues, soul, funk, and reggae. They are 2012's Boston Music Award-winners for "Blues Artist of the Year." A founding member of the D.C. Blues Society, Eleanor Ellis has been called the "preeminent acoustic blues guitarist of the Mid-Atlantic region." She will perform with guitarist and vocalist Neil Harpe and renowned blues harp player Jay Summerour. The Basement Band performs music of Bob Dylan and The Band. Based in Annapolis, the group features blues-roots-rocker Dean Rosenthal, American roots duo Gary Wright and Leah Weiss, drummer Tom Fridrich, and bassist Jeff Muller. This festive musical performance is sponsored by the Caritas Society of St. John's College, Annapolis.
