Comparable to the way we use automobiles in the past we used organizational vehicles designed by others to move us toward our objectives. Today, people have the power to create vehicles of their own. The principles, experience and lessons instilled in the Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program offer invaluable guidance for individuals interested in taking charge in the area of international affairs. Effectively working in cooperation with others, one person can have a lasting impact in the global affairs arena.

Carter Page is a Co-Founder and Partner of Global Energy Capital, a New York-based financial institution focused on the energy investments in emerging markets. Page is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he was a former International Affairs Fellow and Co-Director of a Council study group on the Caspian Sea region.
