The Annapolis Cup Attendee Code of Conduct

St. John’s College is committed to providing a safe environment for members of the college community and visitors. Everybody attending the Annapolis Cup is asked to observe the following rules and regulations during their visit to help make this possible.

Food and Drink

  • Outside alcohol is prohibited.
  • Outside food and sealed nonalcoholic beverages in plastic containers are permitted.  
  • Alcohol purchased on-site may not be removed from the event site.

Smoking and Other Substances

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes all lightable tobacco products, vapes, or electronic cigarettes.
  • Violation of Maryland or federal law, including all laws governing the possession and consumption of alcohol and other illegal substances, is prohibited.
  • Cannabis in any form is strictly prohibited.

Respectful Behavior

  • Disorderly conduct of any kind is prohibited.
  • Intoxicated or otherwise impaired individuals will be removed.
  • Laser pointers and selfie sticks are prohibited.

Security Measures

  • IDs will be checked, and wristbands will be assigned to all attendees. Wristbands must be worn at all times.
  • Reentry is allowed with issued wristband and security screening.
  • Security reserves the right to not readmit attendees in violation of code of conduct.
  • Weapons of any type are not permitted.

Animals

  • No pets allowed; only service animals are permitted within the event grounds.
  • Guests who will be accompanied by a service animal should email annapolis.events(at)sjc.edu at least 7 days in advance of the event.

Dress Code

  • While there is no strict dress code, guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for the event.
  • Shoes must be worn at all times when walking around the event site.
  • Please consider the weather when choosing your attire to ensure a comfortable experience.
