DC to NYC

There’s no such thing as an average day in Annapolis, a city that’s been around since 1649 and is home to equal parts history, culture, and nautical adventure. Best-known for its Colonial architecture, charming downtown area, and incredible crabcakes, Annapolis offers the best of waterfront living as well as easy access to major metropolitan areas like DC, New York, and Baltimore. Grab a kayak, hit the brick-lined streets, or pop into one of the city’s many boutiques and cafés to get a taste of life on the shore, and keep your eyes peeled for politicians—in Maryland’s capital, the statehouse is always abuzz.
